For the visiting Andy Warhol Exhibit, the Crocker wanted to create an interactive space that introduced and submerged visitors into the Pop Art era through the ambience of Andy Warhol’s
Silver Factory. This was a temporary, four month exhibit. Just as the Silver Factory was a space for the creation of art in various forms, so too, was the gallery. It included an artmaking station, film-viewing area with the eponymous red couch, photo “screentest” station, an integrated music/ soundscape aspect, added lighting components for high contrast, a “true or false” area about Warhol, and storage.
