Art Ark, Asmat & African Art Installation

The Art Ark is a mobile trailer that visits various schools throughout the Sacramento region,
bringing hands on art to schools who might not otherwise have it. More than 16,000 students a year go through it, and it gets moved every one to two weeks, so it must be created to withstand the harsh treatment of kids and the movement. With the Art Ark 2012 African and Asmat theme, actual artifacts were allowed alongside interactive activities. African building forms were created to cover the wallcovering and give a more immersive feel to the installation.
