MUSEUM EXPANSION
Sacramento Children's Museum Expansion
Sacramento, CA
The Sacramento Children's Museum needed more space to accommodate the large population it serves. The project included: planning and design to combine the new adjacent space with the existing; interior and exhibit design; remodeling and improvements to the existing space; exterior signage; and exterior play area upgrades. Concept inspiration came from the local landscape, including: California agriculture, Waterways, Mather Airport, Wayne Thiebaud artwork, and the Sacramento skyline. After presenting to the City of Rancho Cordova and receiving their approval, the project was put on hold in early 2020.
